Guys, I won't be out riding this weekend (UNFORTUNATELY), but rumor is there is a trials even up in Excelsior Springs this Sunday. That would make a really fun dualsport ride, enjoy watching the trials, then ride home. Starts about 11AM, admission is free. Location details are on this website. http...

Dean I would like to ride that route as I missed it the first time around. How can we meet up? I can't be on my bike in L...

Did you want to meet at my place or will something else work? Or are you referring to the Holt lunch and ride?

We will do some stuff that will be quite a challenge for a big 650. so please make sure you are up for this before you sign on. It's a piece of crap that looks about like a pop tab that breaks in the motor. Eagle-somebody sells a sweet shiny replacement made out of billet aluminum. I just got it for the bling factor, even though you can't see it. My new one from Arrowhead in Jan 07 was not aluminum. I can help you change it...

KLR Swingarm and linkage maintenance

Decided to tear in to the swingarm and shock linkage seeing that the weather is being difficult, figured I would have some time if things didn't go well. From start to finish I was around 2.5 hours and sweeping the garage floor! This KLR is the easiest bike to work on! Yeah Hoo! Not riding causes th...

I have "On Any Sunday" and probably watch it every couple of months. It has inspired me to race vintage motocross on several occasions in the past few years. But reallity always sets in, I don't complete a season and sell the bike. Been through that scenario three times!

I think I could do this ride on a smaller bike based on my previous experience, but I doubt I am going to buy another bike geared toward this ride before it happens. However I have done stranger things! I was itching to follow on the Hero ride but I knew better than to do it on the KLR. We will see ...

What's a guy got to do to be part of this? Would this be similar riding as the Eureka Springs or are we talking single track here. What town is the hotel or lodge? Is the lodge a common area type of set up?
Thanks

Check out what you missed. Here is a ride report. I hope someone gets more pictures up. This was not the group I was in but we all eventually took the same routes more or less.
