Re: 2007 450 KTM EXC Rejuvenation August 2015
I haven't been digging as deep as you are Carl, but I've been doing some rejuvenating of my own. :) http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss42/path_maker/Motorcycles/DSCN3557_zpsoiqpoonu.jpg Is that a Harbor freight stand? I just bought one and it wont stay up without the pin in it. :? Did I assemble ...

Re: 2007 450 KTM EXC Rejuvenation August 2015
Not bored here - This is great.. Although the SOS and cleaner, soon as I saw that I was wondering about the shine and the tiny scratches. Probably not see it on the white, but any other color might produce a bit of dulling.. Still though, they don't call it learning without being burned once or twi...

Re: 2007 450 KTM EXC Rejuvenation August 2015
I tried to salvage the inner rear fender and tail light but I could not get the brake light circuit to work in the light itself. Also you can see the broken mounting tabs but I could have made those. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m122/carlrf1/KTM/IMG-20150816-01069_zps1xwdckt8.jpg http://i103.p...

Well the main rear fender fastener looks important and unique enough to deserve some special attention. How about a little cleaning with WD-40, and couple of brushes? Finish it up with some antiseize and run the nut all the way down the threads. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m122/carlrf1/KTM/IM...

Re: 2007 450 KTM EXC Rejuvenation August 2015
Wow this forum has been busy today! Anyway, I thought I would try to clean up the orange rear fender the way i have cleaned white plastic before. That is with SOS pads and/or Comet and plastic scrub pad. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m122/carlrf1/KTM/IMG-20150816-01061_zpsb2f1vbo8.jpg http://i1...

Perry; If you know someone that knows there way around Perry well, (like Stu) you/he can put together a ni..........................................................d probably go to C-dale because of the variety and the fact that Quads have not torn it up and it flows reasonable well. If you just wa...

Oh, yes there are rocks and natural gravel if you will. The upside to this is there is NO mud that I recall. It can be pouring rain and you can still ride. I can see where trials tires may be a big help in this terrain. Especially since you don't need the knobbies due to the absence of mud.

Re: RideForum meetup at...
Perry is pretty technical riding. Chadwick is on my list as well. Let me know when you want to head back, never been there myself and am down for an overnight trip. Jamee, I couldn't help but reply based on these two comments. Different people have different ideas of what "technical" means to them,...

That timing might work for me.HanesAnizer wrote:I'd vote Chadwick vs Perry or Carbondale, but it's too far for our westward friends. I'm up for a Chadwick trip though...at least in about 30 days I will be.

Dumb idea? but how about Chadwick. I have been itching to go back there for years as I have not had a Chadwick worthy bike for sometime. What is it, 4.5 hours. Talking hotel in Ozark? I always stayed at the Days in, pretty clean and reasonable. Just a thought. I have only been to Perry once and don...

Found I had somehow blown the 10 amp fuse when working on the signals. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m122/carlrf1/KTM/IMG-20150814-01052_zps4re1fnwj.jpg This broken connector may have made contact with the frame during my manipulations. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m122/carlrf1/KTM/IMG-20...
