My love affair with the 690 has unfortunately chilled for the moment. I have to start doing some more traveling for my employer in 2012 so my riding time will likely take a hit, ( big bummer). Went for a ride on the street bike Sunday since the weather was decent. It's too muddy at Oakland right now...

I was thinking of doing some laps at Oakland on Friday morning, maybe about 10AM but I'm not certain yet. I need to check w/ a couple other guys and take a look at weather underground to see if rain is still expected to move in Friday PM. If you guys set a time and date, I'll try to make it. -Harv

I had fun yesterday. It's always good to take home a cheap plastic trophy. Splitting laps allowed you to never get tired, and the ten minute drive home was the best. There were three photogs on the course. They will have a link to their pics on the FM site later this week.

Dan and I was at Perry from 7am and left about 10ish. If you made it out, it must have been after 10AM. As long as you could keep a good flow going it was not too bad but still not my idea of fun.
