MacWildcat, Thanks for posting the pix and report from the Hillbilly. I'm the fella with the Super Sherpa on Saturday's ride. I really enjoyed the ride and thanks for leading. I hope your knee is healing well and we can ride together again soon.

Hillbilly Dualsort ride
Has anyone heard if the Hillbilly Dualsport ride out of Eureka Springs is on this year? I rode a couple of years ago and had a great time. I havn't seen any postings about it so I'm wondering if it is still on, where and when.

Re: DualSport ride Aug. 16 2009
Todd, Looking forward to the ride. I'll see how it looks in the morning, but I'm counting on it being good for the ride. I have another person planning to go, and I told him to call me around 7:30 to confirm. We should be at you place a little after 8. I'll call if there is a change.

Re: Trials in Excelsior Springs, MO
Pretty much but I'd prefer to go if it isn't raining. The ground can get pretty slick although several of the sections are within an easy walk of the parking site. I'll check out the weather report late Sat eve and early Sun morn.

By all means keep posting your plans, weather permitting I'd like to join one of the rides. I know some neat rides on the MO side of the river from KC North, also.

Car/Dualsport collision
I had a collision with a car last Saturday. I'm looking for suggestions on how I should handle this situation. I was riding in the right hand lane when this car traveling the same direction in left hand lane decided to go to ice cream shop. She (young girl-16 yrs. with girl passenger) turned right a...

I'm glad to see the response to my post about the MATT Trials. I'm sorry I won't be able to make it this year. I've had an emergency in the family which will require me to stay close to home.
All of you who are going , I'm sure will enjoy this event.

Dearborn, MO Sunday Aug. 17
I just wanted to post a notice about today's ride. I decided to explore some back roads going north from Gladstone to Dearborn, MO. Of course there's lots of pavement and plenty of gravel roads to explore in that direction. I left home about 9:00 am and arrived in Dearborn about 11. I didn't ride di...

Go to Adport.com, then click on bt kansas
Also get a Delorme Kansas Atlas, (available at most Walmarts)
Have a good ride, and if you're staying overnight, I could reccomend the Boot Hill B&B.

Kware, Saw your post for may 16 ride to Marquette, KS. Really that's the 17th (small detail). Wish I could go, but can't make it the 17th. Right next door to MC Museum is a little Cafe that serves Fish and Chips for Saturday Lunch. I recommend it! Owner is from GB so knows how to do it right. Have a...

Hillbilly Dualsport Ride - Mar 27-28 '08
For all those who showed up in Eureka Springs last weekend, Hooray!! Although the weather could have been better, it was a great adventure ride anyway! It was my first time there and I can't wait to go back. Friday was not too bad with only a little rain and fog, the scenery [when visible] was great...
