Re: Pinch flats / tire pressure - ideas..
Motorcycles are dangerous. It would be irresponsible of me to give them away. I'll have to burn them.

I'd like to be IN, but have family obligations down in the wonderful Wichita metroplis....or the armpit of Satan as I like to call it.

Re: Pinch flats / tire pressure - ideas..
In reply to ajayhawkfan's questions. I think the grease could/would be effective in reducing pinch flats. As for the tiny timeframe...ask how an air bag can possibly trigger and inflate in time to protect you in a crash! Amazing. I think about how many times the valves in my 4-stroke motor open and ...

Re: Pinch flats / tire pressure - ideas..
The theory makes sense to me. I just don't want to deal with that mess when I have to change a tube on the trail. The side benefit would be you would no doubt end up with grease everywhere making it easier to get the tire bead back over the rim.

Re: Scott's family could use your help.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Eddie. Wow. I don't know Scott all that well, but from what I can tell he is a generous, humble guy who does not hesitate to give back to the rider community. Ashton's tissue disorder sounds VERY serious.

Re: Sat 11/7 KS ride - Pomona/Melvern area
If you are going to be down to Melvern and Pomona, maybe you want to put Larry's farm on your route to hit his trails for a bit? Larry's farm is between Burlington and Garnett, KS. (12 miles W of Garnett)

Re: Late fall bird farm trail ride Nov. 7 Sat.
Folks, I'm personally not going to be able to make this ride, but if you are looking for a VERY fun place to ride your dirt bike or dualsport, work on your bike skills, take the kids to ride, and generally hang out with great people, don't miss this opportunity. Larry's farm is a 1.4 hour easy drive...

AWESOME! and THANK YOU! Remember folks, there is also the Chadwick opportunity, too. http://rideforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2439 I had been keeping Chadwick as an option if my work slowed down a bit. Easier on my schedule to make a 1/2 day trip to the Birdman trails! However, my nephew's Eagle Co...

Re: Speechless.. How is this guy not in jail?
...As I've seen story this pop up in other places, am a little disturbed by some of the comments as well. Everyone seems to be at the extremes with opinions these days on just about every subject. Remember the data-set. Unencumbered by facts, my suspicion is that folks at the extremes are much more...

Perfect weather. ROUGH trails. Great people. Woohoo! I crashed relatively hard twice. My body aches all over but I don't think anything is broken. Head bounced once...but no stars or anything....guess I'm OK. 8) Thanks to the Razorback Riders Club and specifically Kendall for the work he put into th...

Re: 2007 450 KTM EXC Rejuvenation August 2015
The deal Carl made me (that I did not take) was pretty sweet. If I could figure out how to do that every time my bike needs work but without the ownership change and thus registration fees, property tax, and hassle, I'd just "sell" my bike to Carl all the time! The job he did cleaning up my old 450 ...
