Re: Sat May 21st, 5th Manhattan Fun Ride! (for all ages)

What a beautiful day here in the KC metro! I hope you guys are having a GREAT time out at Luc's today! I hated to miss it, but I had a great day running a 5K with my daughter--it was her first and a pretty big achievement for her. It was something she had trained for the last 10 weeks so couldn't mi...

If you guys feel like a bunch of vagina's now after sitting through it you could watch this video to redeem yourself. If you don't watch it all, at least skip to the 39min mark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKFYZDaMkAM&app=desktop Thanks for sharing this documentary, Quinton! I put it on t...

Re: MOVIE: A Story Worth Living

BEST MOVIE EVER! I cried through the whole thing. It really touched me in my special place. I'm waking up today a new woman....uh..man. This story helped me to understand my story which is part of a bigger story in the story of life. Everything is a story in which our story unfolds. It's all about ...

Re: MOVIE: A Story Worth Living

It will be difficult for us to find each other since we don't know what we all look like! No worries I guess, but for what it's worth, I'll arrive by 6pm (I hope) and stand on the corner just S of the door until 6:05 or so to see if anyone wants to join us as a group. I am 6', 190lbs with brown hair...

I watched the first episode, and this series is worthy of popping some corn and watching on the big screen.

Re: MOVIE: A Story Worth Living

Looks like that's a Fork and Spoon theater?? If so, seems like eating first might not be in order?? It's also quite pricey for just a movie. Just sayin'. I agree with you. I saw that, too, and that ticket price seems like the normal ticket price for Fork & Screen where $5 of your ticket app...

Re: NMBDR

Troy, that looks like a great ride to go on, would you have done anything differently such as go during a different time of year to avoid the snow in higher elevations? We were never stopped by snow. What did stop us at the far N part of the route was locked forest gates. Apparently some of those f...

Re: MOVIE: A Story Worth Living

I am in. Do we need to buy tickets in advance? Cool! See you there! I don't know if advanced purchase is required. I doubt it---except the concern that it sells out. It's only one showing. I know previous moto-crowd focused movies with one-time showings have sold out locally before. Tickets: https:...

Re: Birch

Tuesday I fitted brand spanking new suspension front and rear on the 1190R. I'm wanting to find some whoops that I can test it out on now that it won't bottom out. ;) Nothing like installing expensive, new suspension on an already very expensive motorcycle. Reminds me of all the fancy exhaust syste...

Re: Birch

Oh man I love watching those videos! This is why I'm always cautious when folks ask, "Is this a big bike ride?" It depends on your skill! 8) Chris throws that bike around like it's a tiny dirtbike. He lofts the front wheel effortlessly. I can't get my F800GS front wheel to come up no matter how hard...

Re: MOVIE: A Story Worth Living

Maybe but I have to pack a lunch to get to that Joe's. :) Only selected this location because it's next to the theater. There are some nice hotels in the area if you don't want to make the long journey home after the movie. (btw, I confirmed that this movie is NOT a "Fork & Screen" presentati...

Who wants to do:

6:00 dinner at Joe's KC BBQ
7:15 AMC Studio 28 (I-35 & 119th)

Dinner & a movie date with a bunch of dudes. That is perfectly hetero...not like that is important or anything.

I recently returned from a fantastic week of riding and camping the New Mexico Back Country Discovery Route. My riding buddy, Sean, put up a report on AdvRider. Check it out.

Re: Drowned your bike?

When I seriously drowned my 4-stroke last summer outside Crested Butte, the guys lifted my bike up to stand on the rear tire with exhaust pointing down to ground. They put the bike in a high gear then rocked it back and forth to get the valves to open and let water out of the system. We wrung the ai...

Scott, I agree with you 100%. You make excellent points---if Terry did not tell Randy "no alcohol" and his ad does not state this, then nobody is at fault if they are drinking alcohol on the property. Seriously, if the only reason Randy now knows about this "rule" is because I said it's a rule, then...
