Lots of advice here and it all sounds solid to me. For me, though, since I don't really enjoy wrenching, if I take the time and expense to drain the oil, remove the side cover, remove the bolts and springs that hold the clutches together and remove the clutch plates. I'll be danged if I'm just gonna...

Hey -- I may have gotten Dave (and the rest of us) stuck in the mud, but I didn't strand him overnight in freezing weather!

Safiri baby!

Congratulations!

RideForum.NET member safiri and his wife had their first baby last night! Mom, dad, and baby boy are healthy and doing well! It's a little early for a 50cc, but soon----very soon.

You will no doubt get a lot of advice regarding riding and lodging/camping in the Ozarks as a lot of us go there every year for some of the best riding. Mr. David Hemphill (david h) leads an excellent Eureka Springs Ride every year. He's ridden lots of areas all over AR and could be an excellent res...

Another good Flinthills geocache is the Blodgett cache. The history of this spot is interesting and the road in is a good KS dualsport-worthy road. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=5427975b-c7e0-42e6-8924-1dfe4a7c87ca That mogea website requires login so we can't view the links...

Mike is right, it's called options trading. But you need some big bucks to get involved. http://www.infinitytrading.com/unleaded_gas_futures_options.html They are called options because you are buying the option to buy gas at a set price later. Say gas is at $2.50/g, but you believe that gas will be...

Oh yeah I've been trying to find Mondo Enduro and On Any Sunday. I did by Dust to Glory, about the Baja 1000 race. That was a pretty fun flick too. What other motorcycle movies are there?? The funny yet not really funny thing about Long Way around was how Ewan kept getting gas sprayed in his eye!!!...

I'd highly recommend "Mondo Enduro" as well. Same concept as "Long Way 'Round" except on a shoe-string budget, and on DR350s instead of GS's. Whoa! I've not heard of Mondo Enduro. Do you have the DVD that you'd loan to your best buddy, Troy? Netflix does not have it. http://www.aimimage.com/shop.ph...

I got it off Netflix and watched it one weekend. I really enjoyed it. There are plenty of hard-core adventure riders who criticize various aspects of their travel choices, but I just enjoyed being along for their experience. I definitely walked away with a lot more respect for Ewan. The funniest par...

Last year, I was very interested in this process so I contacted the Missouri DMV and got some questions answered before they referred me to the Missouri Hwy Patrol. What I learned was that you need to buy a $27.50 Form 551 or "DOR-551" which can be obtained from a DOR office. Once you have filled ou...

There are 60+ acres of wooded, undeveloped land around my neighborhood that is riddled with trails and stream crossings. Despite the fact that NO TRESPASSING signs and purple paint are everywhere out there, on nice weekends and some evenings, I can hear ATV's and dirt bikes tearing it up out there. ...

Ban dirtbikes and ATVs on Public and Private land?!

Anybody heard about this? I tried to search for this story, but did not find it. I saw in the paper Friday morning a small blurb about the city of Leawood is in the process of drafting a law to outlaw use of dirtbikes and atv's on all property public and private! it stated that there would be a publ...

Those "fender bags" might work as a tail bag---I wonder if it is 2 bags that can be seperated or one unit? $16 is hard to go wrong! According to Big Dog, the material is high quality.
