Enduro Ride Videos
Just something I stumbled upon. This guy races enduros and records his races with helmet video. Sure is fun to watch when you can't go ride yourself. http://www.jonathanbelle.com Be sure to check out this one: http://www.jonathanbelle.com/Videos/07-08_races/07-09-30_yadkinville_gncc.wmv Ooh I want t...

Re: Pit bikes
Thanks, Sean. Your answer is kind of what I envisioned and assumed, but I figured there must be more to it for people to spend money on these toys. Now here is motorized transport with a real purpose. I'm sure the guys could use this around the pit. :D http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/gadgets/cooler-cruis...

Pit bikes
Can somebody please explain to me what a "pit bike" is for? What purpose is a tiny motorcycle used for? I'm kind of ignorant I know.

Re: New bike for Troy? DR350SE for sale?
I heard you were ditching ol' faithful Troy. FWIW, I have ridden a 610 and it was a rocket, too much for anything I could handle on a single track. Guy in Houston had a KTM 525 and it was lifting front tires in 3rd through Sam Houston National Forest. He has a set of moto wheels for street duties. ...

Re: I played Hooky this afternoon!
(Mike and Troy, it does not look the same does it?) Wow! The cabin has more than doubled! Love the upper balcony, too. What a great spot on the river bend you have there. I left work early (3:30) to put some miles on the TE450. Just as I rolled out the driveway, the sun went away and the temperatur...

Re: New bike for Troy? DR350SE for sale?
Time to get the focus of this thread back on me--where it belongs. Don't you guys know it's all about me?! Walked out of the DMV with my shiny new tag. Woohoo! I heard that the license plate adds like 3 hp or something. Looking forward to the extra power. Spent an hour or so just talking to t...

Re: Early Spring Trail Ride...ok really early
That Mansfield Poker Run ride looks really, really good. Looks to be about a 4 hour drive from my KC Northland home. For me, it depends on the weather that weekend and the previous weekend. If the previous weekend is nice enough, I plan to break in the TE on the trails at Milford Lake's School Creek...

I can't wait to try out that fuel-injected beast of yours, Troy. I am imagining smooth, instant power response at all ranges...Is that kind of what it's like? Brother, your test ride awaits. So far, I'd say that describes it. I find the power very instant, comes on with screaming force, yet smooth-...

Re: New bike for Troy? DR350SE for sale?
It was too cold and Jodi would not allow me to ride the bike in the back of the truck anyway. She's a real kill-joy like that. ;) (Honey, if you read this, you know I'm kidding. THANK YOU for letting me spend our life savings on my new Husky.) So I rode the TE450 to work this morning. Only 5 miles a...

Does KTM stand for " K eeping up with T roy's M otorcycle"? HAHAHAHAHAHA! Fact is, I could be riding the hottest bike on the planet and Stu could be riding my old DR350, and there is no way I would be able to catch him in the woods. Btw, I soon will be riding the hottest bike on the planet. 8)

Re: April 3-6, 2008: April Fool's Ride in Arkansas!
Hey Dennis, I see that you have a tool bag on the front of your RFS. Does it stay there without problems? I've recently made the switch from an LC4 to an EXC (525 too, OMG!) and am wondering how well these flimsy EXC fenders hold up with a little weight on 'em. For what it's worth, I lost a fender ...

I have the VIN # for my 2008 TE450! I'll be buying insurance tomorrow and picking up the bike in Springfield, IL this Friday! I'll be making a 3 day weekend trip out of it to visit wife's family up in Illinois, so don't be lined up at my house Friday evening to see this amazing machine. I plan to be...

I'm a huge opponent of littering, and often pick up other people's trash, but I'm gonna have to draw the line at carrying my poop out. Sorry, nature, but you are gonna have to deal with my foreign bacteria. I'll dig a small hole and bury it, but I ain't carrying it out. I guess I'll never get to do ...
