Anybody struggling with what to give me for a gift can put the Sidi Discovery Rain boots on the list. I want a pair.

Re: Flint Hills Stampede Motorcycle Rental? June 6-8
I assume you saw this: http://www.rideforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=654 If you find a cheap loaner bike, that would be better I suppose, but if renting costs a few hundred, you might be better off buying this bike---I think the guy is ready to entertain OBO offers. Then sell the bike--if you buy it ...

Re: how to store a metal tank ?
Safiri's ideas seem sound. My 99 DR350 metal tank came off my bike when I out on an Acerbis plastic larger tank. I didn't even bother dumping the quart of gas that was in the tank and just put it on a shelf in my dry, climate controlled garage. After 2.5 years anyway, it looks like new. I'm really, ...

Re: BOOTS!!
Expensive, but probably some of the best "dualsport" boots--I wear the Oxtar Infinity. Very comfortable and a lot of protection. I have beat the CRAP out of mine for almost 3 years. They aren't looking so good anymore, but nothing is broken and I have no plans to replace them anytime soon. Rusty use...

Re: Off road ride this weekend 4/26 Sterling Ranch
Jim, I'm definitely IN on this offer. However, my weekend schedule is up in the air right now, so I cannot make a firm commitment for this weekend. We've also got the weather to watch, eh?
Thanks again for this offer!

I've got a LOT-o-crap to do this weekend, but a guy needs to ride, too. So I'm watching this thread, Jim. If you host some riding at the ranch, I may fire up the Husky.jsherm01 wrote:So maybe I can host some ridin' down there this weekend.

Re: PHOTO POST INTERESTING FOTO'S YOUVE TAKEN
I don't know how to post pics! Well, it is a bit technical, but here goes... First, you don't actually "post" any photos here on RideForum.NET. You post your photos online anywhere, then link to them here in an IMG tag--which causes them to appear inline in the forum. So, for example, I see you use...

Re: OHV area in SE Nebraska
$25. a day seems a bit pricey? Did they set it up with Quads or bikes inmind? Well, it is setup for quads AND bikes. You know what this means---everything turns into quad trail. BUT, I'd rather ride quad trail than Kansas City pavement. 8) Pricey? Considering that we have Perry Lake within an hour ...

Re: OHV area in SE Nebraska
I called and talked to Roger, and I think I heard Sandy in the background making sure he got the details right. :D They seemed like really nice people. He said his nephews are the guys that do all the riding and designed the place. It sounds like they are really trying to do this thing right. They n...

OHV area in SE Nebraska
Our own fatburg directed me to this: http://kansascity.craigslist.org/mcy/651748992.html Opening a new OHV facility in Southeastern Nebraska. We have over 300 fenced acres with all types of terrain and wooded trails. We also have a youth MX track outside of the fenced area. Primitive camping is avai...

That video was really fun to have, so I'm looking forward to what he finds time to put together this year! He needs your help! In 2006, I took a ton of photos and he was able to use tho...

Boot Dryer
So, after our Arkansas ride aka "the waterfall ride", I've decided a portable boot dryer is high on my list of riding accessories. In a post at http://www.rideforum.net/viewtopic.php?p=4933#p4933 Ajayhawkfan recommended these: http://www.amazon.com/OPTRONICS-Portable-Boot-Dryer/dp/B000CHGCHG http://...

Any Bike You Want - $10 ticket 1:3000
http://ridersonline.org/anybike I heard about this bike giveaway to support RiderDown.org. Only $10/ticket and only 3,000 tickets sold. Decent odds for me, and I don't mind giving $20 to RiderDown.org. I'm telling all of you so you'll go buy tickets and tell everyone because the contest is over whe...

Regular Sunday Lunch Ride -- Get your vote in now
Heads up --> Many of you are familiar with the Head 2 Holt rides of 2007. http://www.head2holt.com These were started by Rusty of http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com to give local riders a fun ride event twice a month (every other Sunday). I rode several of the Sundays and really enjoyed it. It is fu...
