Damn. That game camera cost me $180 and the 2 tree stands were just over $100 each. The heavy-duty bolt cutter was $50. These land owners are getting downright hard to deal with anymore.

Seriously though, that is stupid gutsy---cutting a chain, setting up tree stands--wow.

My $0.02 says there is no way you'll make it from Atchison to White Cloud and back down to Lawrence by lunch or even late lunch. I've done a similar loop a couple times and it just takes time---but you don't mind because it's so fun. All depends on your route of course. Those soft dirt/dust roads up...
